You’ve got a nice blog. I’ll have to show it to my mom. She is a baby boomer that’s tired of working. I keep trying to tell her about affiliate marketing. Man, this would be so easy for her (mostly because she has more than enough money to outsource everything). But she’s convinced that she is “too old” or whatever to do this.

I like the analogy of buying a house. I’m too poor to buy a house, so I just went out to a vacant piece of land and started cutting down trees and nailing 2×4’s together (no wonder it’s taking me so long). My mom actually can afford a house, so she could just simply buy one lickety-split (outsource everything and make more money than she could possibly need)!

Firstly I built a clone of Mark’s Blackbook site by spinning all the content but felt guilty about it because I felt I was cheating. I had already bought xSitepro and learned how to use it in building that first site. However, it wasn’t until I got my teeth into wordpress that I was able to be a little more imaginative with my first serious blog designed to be a journal for me and a place where I can make a few sales but more importantly build a list by giving away free stuff.

Anyway, http://www.wowblackbook.com is one of Mark Ling’s websites (he runs Affilorama) and there’s a bunch of us that just build niche websites like these. Maybe you’ve stumbled across a few of them while searching around on Google…

Just came across your blog. It’s cool to see blogs from people who haven’t made it yet. I’m on the same 4HWW path as you. I’ve got a few ecommerce sites I’m trying out and tried my luck at an affiliate site.

I’m curious on how your set up your sites. Is there a post on it somewhere? We might be able to help each other out.

@Huddson, I deep link to the direct article and also to a related article on my site. So, if the article was on “how to get a woman’s phone number” I’d link to http://www.mysite.com/how-to-get-a-womans-phone-number/ and http://www.mysite.com/how-to-get-a-date/

Oh, almost forgot… I’m not really sure if any of my articles out rank my main site. I don’t really track the position of the articles. I have noticed that I get a fair amount of traffic from Ezine Articles, Self Growth, and Articlet though.

I remember that you spun the articles and submit them to Ezinearticles. For the bio box there, do you link each article you submitted there to each page of the site or just the main URL?

And do you have any instances where the articles you posted on Ezine ranking better(or worse) than your site’s pages with the same keywords?
