Ive been following your blog for a few weeks now, found it through a few of your posts in the affilobluprint forums. Your way ahead of me, so its great to check in now and again and see how your getting along.

A quick question if you dont mind, how do people add avatars to thier comments. Im just getting started with blogs, been using dreamweaver up until now.

@Rodderz Thanks for stopping by my blog. That’s pretty funny! I’ve never thought about just writing about whatever I want and then sticking a link to an acne website or a registry repair website. I guess you’re probably not doing it for the actual visitors clicking on the bio links, but rather the backlinks themselves.

Outsourcing is the dream, and I agree that AMA is a real pain. Im also interested in hearing if anyone can recommend an alternatives to AMA.

I got so sick of writing about boring subjects this week that I started writing about interesting things, submitting the articles to ezine and go, linking to my dull sites in the biobox. I guess its still good for link building, and it kept me sane. What a shame that such a lot of things that people buy are so unbelievably dull to write about.

Good work so far Clayton. Following you is exciting since I’m on the same path. Making $600 a week would be a dream come true for me. That’s like a full time salary of passive income!

I’ve worked with a couple people from the Philippines for web programming and have had pretty good experiences so far. It’s definitely a good route to go.

My goal right now is to get passive income through ecommerce sites. I’m outsourcing the tedious SEO link building and article submission process, so we’ll see how that goes.

@Devin, Man that sounds like a dream come true! Do you know how much time I dedicate to spinning and submitting articles? It’s insane! Thanks for another great recommendation about outsourcing!

@Keith, Thanks for the tip. Yeah, that’s what I’d like to do. Once I’m done with all this article spinning and submitting, I fully intend on taking my sites into a “slow growth” phase where I add one or two articles to each site every week. It’s comforting to know that new articles will rank fast with a 6 month old site (that’s almost exactly how old my first site is). Hope your sites are doing well, man.

Hey Clayton, keep it up man, you’re doing well. I feel your pain on the article spinning.

For website #1 couldn’t you add another bunch of articles with better keywords? Given that it’s aged a while, it will have some kind of trust with Google.

When I add new articles on low competition keywords to my 6 month old site, Google ranks them almost immediately.

Hey Clayton,

I’ve been really impressed with outsourcing to the Philippines. In my experience, it’s not very “conversational,” but the content is well researched and well written.

I will never write another article to submit to a directory or spin, it’s really cheap to have that outsourced. More importantly, it’s the only way for me to stay save while doing this.

For my main website content, I still write a lot of that myself or edit the stuff my writers give me.
