@Javier, profile links involve creating an account with a site and adding your details.
You can add your website and also can write something about yourself.
What I do in the about me section is add 2 to 3 anchor links pointing directly to the web page am trying to rank.
the anchor text is for the keyword I would like to rank for in the SERPS.

@Anton and Dennis, Hmmm… I’ve done a little bit of profile links. I had heard on the Warrior Forum that they were becoming less effective though. You guys are making me rethink this. Thanks for the tip!

@Michelle, I knew it was only a matter of time before I found another North-westerner doing this stuff! Let me know if you ever cross the pond into the city. Summer is coming soon, maybe I’ll be heading to your neck of the woods for visit to the Blodel Reserve or a refreshing ice cream at Mora :)

Hi, I just found your blog and am enjoying going through the posts. Looks like we share a lot in common actually.I live near Bainbridge Island, and have been doing internet marketing for about a year, mainly with Clickbank and Adsense. Anyway, just thought I’d say “hi” and tell you that I’m finding your blog to be a great read! And yeah, there’s a script vendors use to randomly cycle affiliate names into sales where there is no affiliate cookie, which helps drive up their gravity, so that’s probably the source of your mystery sale!

Why have you revealed my biggest secret?…lol!

Well, I have got “SERIOUS” results out of profile links.
They are hard to get indexed but one way or another my keywords rank quickly and stay and there if I keep building these links!

I would highly recomend using profile links.

I have a hunch that the Clickbank mystery is some vendor that is using some kind of black hat program to try to drive up the gravity score on their product so other affiliate marketers notice it. Not sure how it works, but as long as they don’t refund it, I’m happy to keep the $4.15 :)

Good work. Its kinda depressing but you have to go through some “dry spells”. I guess IM is just like the weather, it has seasons and can also change anytime.
That being said though, i still think you are doing alright.

clickbank mystery??…well, never really come across this one so I cant help there.
